Tara has lived and worked in Dover since 2005, running her full-time photography business and raising a family. She started her business officially in 2000, when she first started photographing weddings and built her first website: TARAphotography.com Over the years she has focused on maternity - newborn- family, shooting on-location throughout the seacoast and beyond. In 2023 opened her studio in downtown Dover to offer an indoor an alternate location to her clients.

Maternity sessions are offered at outdoor locations, in client's homes or in the studio, lifestyle newborn sessions are offered both in-home as well as in the studio, and milestone sessions are also offered in the studio year-round for all the adorable milestones in our little one's lives from smiling to sitting up to the birthdays!

Tara also has been offering Fresh 48 newborn sessions at Wentworth Douglass Hospital for many years, documenting those precious first days with baby. She has literally photographed hundreds of babies right here in Dover, and is known for her easy, calm demeanor and attention to detail.
